As The Soul Unfolds 

We hear a Word that penetrates

all of the different layers and levels.

Igniting a spark.. in the spirit that sets our souls on fire.

From subconscious to consciousness…

The Word makes its way.

As the soul unfolds

We come to Christ…like happy, little children

Happy that he found us, and called us, and saved us.

Happy in our ignorance of spiritual things.

We become as babes…blinking in the sudden light,

Trying to focus on the face… of the One in whose likeness

We shall become bit by bit… from glory to glory.

We want to know more… of this Jesus.

Who has set us ablaze.

We hold on…to the feeling of His fire.

As it burns the old, the dark, and the dross.

As the soul unfolds

We become that burning bush.

On fire…yet not consumed.

Bright lights along the way.

‘But we all, with unveiled face reflecting as a mirror the glory of the Lord, we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18
