Day 25 | No Condemnation
John 8: 1-19
The Pharisees brought a woman to Christ who had committed adultery. They were zealous in their desire not only to judge her sin, but to subject her to a gruesome death as well.
*Note, It is common for those that are indulgent to their own sin to be severe against the sins of others. ~Matthew Henry~
When Jesus addressed the crowd His response convicted them and one by one they left until He was alone with the woman. Whether our sins are exposed to the world or known only to us, this is where we stand – alone with Jesus Christ. We stand before Him daily and we will stand before Him at the judgement seat.
Then Jesus stood up and asked her, “Dear lady, where are your accusers? Hasn’t anyone condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she replied. Then Jesus said, “I don’t condemn you, either. Go home, and from now on do not sin anymore.” John 8: 10-11
She was guilty as we all are of sinning and her sin, having been brought to light convicted her. But as Christ pointed out, He did not condemn her and no one else had the right or authority to condemn her either. Those that follow Christ live in his light which exposes everything.
There are no secret sins in the life of believers. Jesus Christ is aware of them all. He is quick to expose, forgive and cleanse us of our sins. We live in His limitless love, His grace and His mercy under which there is No Condemnation.

Judging others will wear you out! (I’m embarrassed to tell you I know this from experience.) I am much happier when I love them and take care of my own shortcomings which is a full time job. I’m taking this reminder to heart today. Thank you.
