Morning Praise

Lord, I thank you from the bottom of my heart

For once again giving me this brand new start.

My eyes are wide open, my mind is clear

And I feel your presence drawing near.

 

What do You have planned for me today?

Are tests and challenges are coming my way?

Or, Will I finally reap all You’ve led me to sow?

Are You filling my cup today? Will it overflow?

 

Can’t You give me a hint, maybe one tiny clue?

 No? Then let me tell You what I’m going to do.

Like a stalker, I’ll follow and keep you in sight

Worshiping and praising You with all my might.

 

Did you remember to thank God today? For life, health and strength?
