Personal Growth | Forty Days with God

A couple of months ago, I entered a giveaway for a free copy of

The Voice New Testament

I won! I was so happy to get this translation because of the buildup it had received prior to release. This is not a review, because I just got it this week but I can tell you that so far I’m loving it.

In the preface of this New Testament, there are several daily reading plans. One of them is:

“Daily Readings for Personal Growth, 40 Days with God”

As I looked over the list something about it spoke to my spirit so I’m guessing I should go with it. One of the things I liked about this reading plan is the way it’s presented. They list

  • Day
  • Title
  • Verses

That’s it. No suggestions, no insights, nothing.  You’re on your own and when you think about it, it makes perfect sense. The Holy Spirit meets us exactly where we are, and will guide and teach us exactly what we need to know, when we are ready to learn..individually.

If you’d like to join me, please do. There are no rules.  Let us grow together in Christ.

  2. How neat. Currently, my bible study has been the 10 commandments. I find it interesting that God gave us a few commandments or laws to live by and repeats them in the New Testament so they must be really important.

Love to read your insight from your reading. Good luck.
