Taylors Tip: Take Musical Moments

Take Musical Moments

Sometimes the mere act of “living” in this world is a test of faith. We are doing the same things as everyone else; raising children, working, taking care of home, family, etcetera. Just Living. But…

Sometimes.. its sooo hard.

On the other hand have you ever noticed how hearing just a snippet of a praise, worship or gospel song can transform your mood? That’s the Spirit! Believers need regular, sustained contact with the Holy Spirit. I’m convinced of it.

We can’t (or don’t) always get up early enough to have quiet time with Jesus before we begin our day. That doesn’t come as a surprise to Him. He made provisions for our lack of time (or effort).

That’s the kind of God we serve. We can tap into His Holy Presence at any given moment because He is always right there. When I’m in need of a change of focus, a change of mind, a change of heart or whatever the case may be, I take a musical moment.  And if I start singing or even humming, “Yes, Jesus loves me,” I get the change I need. It works. Especially if I pretend I sound like Whitney Houston. 🙂

God is awesome!

Try it!

Pick your own song.

Let the word spoken by Christ (The Messiah) have its home in your hearts and minds, and dwell in you in all its richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom in spiritual things, and as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with His grace in your hearts. Colossians 3:16 (AMP)

Start taking Musical moments throughout the day. They will Bless you!
