Concerns
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8
You are the work of God’s hand, wonderfully and fearfully made in His image and when He looks at you, He is not seeing your flaws. God sees the unique spirit He created and poured all of His love into. Your talents and gifts – even your personality was established. God knew you intimately before placing you in the womb. Everything that concerns you concerns God. There is nothing more comforting than knowing God is perfecting us, day by day. He started a good work in us and He will see it through to completion.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for reminding me where I really came from. Help me to see past the flaws. To look a little deeper and see your image shining through. Teach me, Father God to be still, to let go of the distractions and get out of the way while You finish what You started in me. In the mighty name of Jesus!
