Feel God’s Love On Purpose

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe ( adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God has for us.

God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. 1 John 4:16 AMP

I know God loves me, and God knows I love Him. Most of the time I take that love for granted. I don’t mean to but I do.

I get up every morning and recite my “Thank You’s”. You know, thank you for loving me, blessing me etc. Sometimes, I am really into it and feeling grateful for God’s love and blessings. Other times I may as well be reciting a grocery list, because I’m not thinking about what it really means to have the love of God.

This morning I realized – knowledge of God’s love for me isn’t enough.

I have to feel it, allow it fill me, to flow through me, and around me. I have to live in that love and return it with all my heart, mind, strength and everything that is within me.

On this day I choose to recognize and feel God’s love on purpose.
