Gratitude Journal: Song Birds

Today I am grateful for…

*Song Birds – If you’re one of my regular readers, you know I have a little dog. Well, during our morning walk today, I heard birds singing. At first I didn’t notice their song because my mind was busy elsewhere.

Then I heard them and at that moment it was the most beautiful sound I’d ever heard. Their song told me to ignore the obvious; to forget the cold and think Spring. A better day is on the way.

I received their report and I can’t begin to tell you how it lifted my spirit.

Then… to top it off, I spotted them perched on a naked branch preening and posing and singing their hearts out.
