Just A Breath Of Freedom
Just A Breath Of Freedom
by J.B. Hill
Held captive for your politics
They want to break my soul
They’ve ordered the extermination
Of all the minds they can’t control.
For me this fate is far worse
than a brutal homicide
They’ve caged me like an animal
to watch me slowly die inside.
Today, I’m filled with anger
Fueled with hidden hate
Tired of being an outcast
Afraid of a common fate.
My life was built on tradgedies
Which no one wants to face.
I see nightmares to humanity
Watching my kind be morally disgraced
Years of the gnawing at my sanity
Has left me feeling insane
As I pray for freedom
A chance to breath and live again
