Rest In Peace Ms Etta James

Ms Etta James, one of the greatest singers who has ever lived has passed away.

My mother has always been a fan of what she calls “good music”. I can remember, as a child listening to and loving the likes of Nat King Cole, Thelonious Monk, Herb Albert, Nancy Wilson, Beethoven, Mozart, Dionne Warwick, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, John Coletrane, BB King, Chuck Berry and of course – Ms Etta James. I have loved her soulful, songs since Elementary School. Her death saddens me.

Leukemia may have taken her life, but it can not silence her wonderful voice.

I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.
