Thankful Thursday
We get so caught up in everything that’s going on in our tiny corner of the world we tend to lose sight of what’s really important and forget to take that moment to be still and know God. We fail to realize how awesome our God is, and how blessed we really are.
For instance, my fresh little niece pushed all of my buttons this morning as only a five year old can and I really, really wanted to strangle her but I couldn’t, so I just sucked it up and forced myself to behave like a grownup. When I got back from taking her and my daughter to school, I was still in a foul mood, mumbling to myself about how people should teach their children basic things like respect.
After I poured a strong cup of coffee, I stopped by Grow Where You’re Planted to check out the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. And I am so glad I did. Because as soon as I started thinking of all that I am thankful for, the devil and his foul mood left. That list is way too long to put here. There is so much that I’m thankful for.
I’m just going to say Thank You! Thank You! Thank You Father in the name of, and for Jesus Christ! Amen.
Have you thanked God today?

I've found that my mood is really a lot better when I stop and remember all the things I have to be thankful for. Since I started writing a Thankful Thursday post each week, I'm always on the lookout for what I'll include in my post and it keeps me focused on the positives.
My kids, however, still know how to push my buttons. Kids can always do that!
Stopping by from the Thankful Thursday blog hop =)

Staying on the lookout for things to include is a great idea! I'm going to use it.
Thanks

AWESOME!!! Yes, we get so caught up in so many little things… but in actuality we are SO blessed. "Be still and know God." love it! When we do that, we are a lot more thankful for all He has blessed us with. 🙂 Thanks for linking up! Hope you have a great weekend!

I have four young children and they seem to know how to push my buttons. did I mention one of my boys is 2 years old? Ha ha! If I let all the little things bother me then I would be in a bad mood all the time. But when those same 4 children laugh, smile, or give me a hug I realize that I am so blessed. God is so good! Hope you have a fabulous day!
