Bible Verses To Strengthen Your Faith

The fact that we experience times when our faith seems to be slipping away comes as no surprise to our Father. He always knows what we need, when we need it and even though we don’t always realize it, He has already given it to us. Everything we need to get us through the difficult seasons in our lives can be found in the scriptures.

Reflecting (meditating) on His Word will renew your hope and provide nourishment to a hungry spirit. You can start with these verses and if you have a few favorite verses, read them as well. Before you begin, ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the mysteries hidden in the words; to help you strengthen your faith.

I recommend reading them out loud whenever you can, so you can hear the words because “Faith cometh by hearing.”

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately, the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord I believe; help my unbelief!” Mark 9:23-24

And God is able to give you more than you need so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every good cause. As the scripture says, “He gives generously to the needy; His kindness lasts forever.” 2 Corinthians 9:8-9 (GNB)

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37

The Lord will keep you safe from all evil; He will take care of your soul. The Lord will keep watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time and forever. Psalms 121: 7-8 (BBE)

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1

So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, “The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm, [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? Hebrews 13:6 (AMP)

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Psalm 51: 10-12

Now, this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8

What I want from you is your true thanks; I want your promises fulfilled. I want you to trust me in your times of trouble, so I can rescue you and you can give me glory. Psalm 50:14-15 (TLB)
