Book Review: Billy Graham In Quotes by Franklin Graham

We are to be the catch basins for the fullness of God. Like a freshly running spring, we are to overflow and let our lives touch the lives of those around us. ~Billy Graham~

I jumped at the chance to review this book and could hardly wait for it to arrive. Just as I thought, it was worth every second of the wait!

This collection of quotes spanning Dr. Graham’s  seven decades in Ministry is not meant to be read straight through, although that is possible and rather enjoyable as it gives a glimpse into the way this powerful man of God thought. Billy Graham in Quotes is meant rather, to be used as a resource or for reference material when a quote might be needed to drive home a point of view. It contains a vast assortment of quotes on 107 topics from one of the most famous Evangelist of all times. Compiled by his son Franklin Graham and Donna Lee Toney, the quotes touch on a broad range of subjects, both scriptural and practical. They categorized and alphabetized for ease of use and cover areas such as  abortion, character, children, church, Jesus, joy, money, race, sin, society,  work, and worship.

Within the pages of this wonderful book, I was inspired, convicted, strengthened and encouraged. It is a worthy addition to any library and I am grateful to Thomas Nelson Publishers for being given the chance to review it.  I gave it 5 stars.

I received this book free from the publisher through the Book Sneeze.com  http://booksneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
