Book Review: The Lucado Inspirational Reader

Why did He do it? A shack would have sufficed, but He gave us a mansion. Did He have to give the birds a song and the mountains a peak? Every now and then we are fortunate enough to get a little more than we expected. Such is the case with Max Lucado’s latest book. The Lucado Inspirational reader is a compilation of quotes, snippets and anecdotes culled from the best selling author’s previous works. I expected a great book. What I received was an awesome, inspirational, soul-lifting, hardcover book over 400 pages long with a topical index for easy reference.

Some of the 27 topics include: the Bible, comfort, creation, evangelism, faith, heaven, Jesus, peace, purpose, second chances and worship
