Knowing When It’s Time to Leave

It is 12:14 a.m.
I should have been asleep an hour ago.
But my new neighbors are annoying me.

I snapped this photo one morning when I was returning home after walking the pooch.

I’m not sure why.

So peaceful in the morning… before the kids come out. ? #Philadelphia #urbanphillymom #foundinphilly

Probably because it was so…quiet. It used to be that way all of the time.

Things are different now. The people I became accustomed to have all moved out and the flavor of the neighborhood has changed a lot.

I don’t think I’m resistant to change.

It’s more a feeling of sadness because the new flavor is awful.

Loud, abrasive, hoodrat, ghetto awful.
