Taylor’s Tip | God Is Seeking
But the hour is coming, and now is, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4: 23-24
Jesus explains to the Samaritan woman at the well that the hour is coming when there will no longer be a wall of separation between Jew and Samaritan.
The time now is because Jesus was present. He was preparing the way for those true worshipers who would worship the Father in spirit and truth. Those who received and believed, in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who would come to know, believe, trust, and have complete faith, in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The Father is seeking those who worship in spirit and in truth. Words impress man, but God searches the heart.
A sincere heart pleases God more than any ritual, lavish ceremony or rote memorization of scriptures that don’t touch the heart of the speaker. If the heart is not engaged, then the spirit is absent. If the Spirit is absent then true worship, such as required to please God is impossible.
Jesus is the only truth.
True worship is only possible in, through, and by way of His Holy Spirit.
