Thankful Thursday

For what You have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good. Psalm 52: 9

I have so much to be thankful for on this Thursday, I hardly know where to begin. As I told you in my last post, I was battling a lymph node infection that really beat me up, physically and mentally. As a result I had to shelve a few things while I rode it out.

Thank God – it’s over and outta here! I can’t think of a better way to get back to my life, my family and friends and my blog than with a thankful post. The Thankful Thursday Blog hop seems to have fallen by the wayside but it’s still Thursday and I’m still thankful.

I am filled with gratitude today because:

  • I am alive and well.
  • My family is alive, well and for the most part – happy.
  • It’s a beautiful, brisk, sunny, fall day.
  • Doors have started opening for me and even though it’s a little scary I’m going in.

Most of all, I’m grateful because: God loves me. Jesus loves me. He saved me and sent His Holy Spirit to love me, to live in and with me, to guide and comfort me.

Have you thanked God today?

Be Blessed!

  1. A beautiful post! We do have a lot to be thankful for. It's easy to forget to be grateful for the little things and take our blessings for granted. Thanks for the reminder! God bless you, Taylor!
