Five Minute Friday Gratitude Prayer

This is my sacred place. the place I come to for instructions, lessons, love. I won’t bring any negativity in here because I don’t want to. I know my Lord is with me wherever I am, but sometimes I forget. Like everyone else, I have so many things going on in my life all of the time; sometimes it gets all muddled and confusing.

“Go through His gates, giving thanks; walk through His courts, giving praise. Offer Him your gratitude and praise His holy name. Because the Eternal is good, His loyal love and mercy will never end, and His truth will last throughout all generations.” Psalm 100: 4-5 (TV)

I praise Your holy name Father God.

I thank You for everything you are doing in my life.

There is so much I don’t understand and I’m learning to be okay with that.

I release the need to figure it out. I will stand on what I know.

I know You love me.

I know You have declared me righteous and I know that all things (even the things I may not understand) are working together for my good.

I trust You, I love You and I thank You, Lord.
