Today’s Writing Prompt: What are the things in your life right now that you just don’t want to do?
I don’t want to walk the dog three times a day. Sometimes I wish I could just open the door and say, “Go handle your business, Kid.” I know the fresh air and exercise is good for both of us, and I certainly don’t want him to poop and pee in the house but I just don’t want to.
I don’t want to deal with stuff I really don’t understand like SEO, Alexa Rankings, Page Rank. I just want to write, put cute pictures on my blogs and have readers magically appear.
I don’t want to ever, ever have to put my hands in ground beef again. Raw meat under my finger nails is yucky and disgusting and gross.
I don’t want spring break, or summer break. I want my daughter to go to school 365 days a year. 🙂 Well maybe the two week Christmas/New Year break is okay. But that’s it!

The dog thing… yes. But unfortunately, I do it. I let her out on the deck. She refuses to go into the yard and then I have to clean it off the deck. All because I’m TOO lazy.

Hi,
Nice to meet you. Love this post- part of me wants to know why you had your hand in ground beef in the first place, but some things are better left unsaid, I know. Agreed on wanting readers to magically appear, but I know that’s a bit of a pipe-dream for me, because my blog is so niche. I’m not sure there’s a magic secret, but I’m going to keep on searching. (No pun intended- although I must be on form tonight with that sort of thing.)
Best wishes,
Casey

LOL! Your post made me laugh Taylor. And if I have a dog – my sentiments exactly. As for the meat, I wear rubber gloves for cooking. I use it for onions and anything I have to touch that is gross.

I love the comment about schooling. There are some schools around here that do more year-round-type schooling, but they still get two weeks off every 6-7 weeks.
You actually made me wince at the thought of ground beef on my hands and caught under my nails – too gross.
